NCICDP Workgroups

The NC Institute for Child Development Professionals (NCICDP/ The Institute) oversees several standing workgroups related to the Institute’s mission and goals.  Inspired by the Institute of Medicine’s report Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth through Age 8:  A Unifying Foundation, each workgroup is co-chaired by two Institute Board Members and is comprised of additional members of the board of directors along with other professionals from across the state of NC and beyond.  In addition to the Institute’s standing workgroups, the Institute also frequently creates additional short-term workgroups to address a specific need or event such as the Institute’s annual professional development event, the Lean In and Learn Webinar.
